Friars Hill Stables is a family run business owned by Alison Brown and combines professionalism with a relaxed friendly atmosphere.

Situated on the Gateway to the North Yorkshire Moors the stables is only a short drive from Scarborough, York Whitby, Malton & Pickering. In the heart of marvellous hunting country, with Sinnington, Derwent, Middleton, Farndale and Saltersgate Farmers Hunt no more than a stones's throw away.

We have a wide range of well schooled horses & ponies to ride for all ages and standards. A new large indoor floodlit ring at the stables allows all year round opening. (day or night). In 1999 we became a Pony Club Approved Centre, so youngsters can take advantage of the Pony Club educational system and their superb insurance, without having to own a pony of their own. With qualified staff to BHS Level II and approved Instructors for the Disabled, we try to cater for all.
